Loose bundles of micro-ducts protected in main duct has been proved over the year to be excellent solution for FTTH networks. Individual micro-ducts can be pulled or blown into the sub-duct on site which gives a huge flexibility in CAPEX/OPEX management. On the other hand, DuraPack bundles are produced at a factory and such like saving installation cost & time of micro-duct blowing. The max. number of micro-ducts within the DuraPack bundles is also always higher then what can be achieved by blowing on site. Since micro-ducts are loose and sub-duct provides excellent impact protection, DuraPack is the least sensitive product to micro-bending & trench quality. The Silicore inner lining remains in the duct for many years which makes future repairs or micro-duct replacement easier. Connection and branching of DuraPacks is done within the special enclosures (see DuraPack installation scheme) which keeps the main duct route clean.
Direct Bury are thick-wall products providing strong mechanical protection enabling their direct laying into the ground (trenches, microtrenches)
Direct Install are thin-wall ducts typically installed into another outer protective duct or into spaces with no direct mechanical exposure
All Dura-Line´s products are pre-lubricated with special inner lining of SilicoreTMproviding excellent results when blowing / pulling in cables.
